Notes to sample preparation
- Samples need to be mounted in appropriate medium and fluorescence protected by anti-fade reagents (e.g. the mounting media).
- Samples need to be covered with 0.17 mm thick coverslips. The coverslip should be sealed securely to the slide/dish holding the sample.
- In case of cell cultures, grow the cells on coverslips or in wells with 0.17 mm glass bottom.
- To ensure that your sample will work with the confocal microscope, please discuss your imaging experiment with one of the confocal super-users before initiating the experiment.
